What I do is get 'em and just allow them to be picked up a bit. They then fly off and die because they get squashed. Its hilarious!

You should change the game to windowed mode so you can set the graphics settings higher. Or, if you have a good enough computer and just didn't know how to go to options, then click the little galaxy icon (the one with pause menu) and click options from there.
