I'm at HMX right now...been here about 2 years...still on greenside even though i've had my clearance forever. I've got a good friend who's with 363 in iraq right now...he was here before, but couldn't get cleared so he went to kbay

The nose gearboxes do indeed change the angle of drive, but the input driveshafts from the nose gearboxes do not go into the AGB. They go directly into the main gear box. All the accessory gearbox does is run the 2nd stage hyd. system, utility hyd. system, eng. start pump, and the #1 and #3 generators.

wow amazing, the only thing its missing is the nose gearboxes in front of the engines...those are what change the angle of drive from the engine and send it to the accessory gear box to be sent to the rotor and then on back through the rest of the process. It would be nice if it had aux tanks too...but still very very cool.
