These lines of police greeted us almost the entire route. September 2, 2008 in St. Paul, MN. The start of the March For Our Lives put on by the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign. They marched from Mears Park past the Union Mission, the detention center, up to the Capitol and down to the Excel Energy Center. This was a legal, permitted event. I was observing.
