Hotter Than Hell was once criticized for having a rather muffled sound, but that was what made the album stand out among the rest.Unfortunately, this re-recording took out that characteristic sound, and in effect, took out the soul of the song.

the only song that benefits form the rework treatment.this album is a discgrace to the KISS legacyTHE GONG IS THE EXACT SAME GONE FROM THE ORIGINAL VERSIONsame as the acoustic intro to Black Diamond.... its the same as the original.Go ahead and listen before you argue.

Nothing against Tommy, but without ACE, they should just bring back Bruce and do a Revenge era tour. Maybe even keep Tommy and play as a five piece. That would sound tight.
