The Roman Catholic Church rejects this. The official position of the Roman Catholic Church is that a person must believe in Jesus Christ AND be baptized AND receive the Eucharist along with the other sacraments AND obey the decrees of the Roman Catholic Church AND perform meritorious works AND not die with any mortal sins AND etc., etc., etc. Catholic divergence from the Bible on this most crucial of issues, salvation, means that yes, Catholicism is a false religion. If a person believes what the Catholic Church officially teaches, he/she will not be saved. Any claim that works or rituals must be added to faith in order for salvation to be achieved is a claim that Jesus' death was not sufficient to fully purchase our salvation.While salvation by faith is the most crucial issue, in comparing Roman Catholicism with the Word of God, there are many other differences and contradictions as well. The Roman Catholic Church teaches many doctrines that are in disagreement with what the Bible declares. These include apostolic succession, worship of saints or Mary, prayer to saints or Mary, the pope / papacy, infant baptism, transubstantiation, plenary indulgences, the sacramental system, and purgatory. While Catholics claim Scriptural support for these concepts, none of these teachings have any solid foundation in the clear teaching of Scripture. In Matt16 Jesus says "thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it"In August of 1592, Sixtus, a successor of Peter, was about to canonize a new edition of the Vulgate which he had worked on, against the advice of, well pretty much everyone.Instead...he died.Proof that God will not let the successor of Peter mislead His Church.Jesus is still with His Church

Stop repeating yourself. One Church on earth is what Christ intended! One flock, one congregation both in Heaven and on earth.As I mentioned before, you are using Papal infallibility in a false way. If you truly understood the justification and placement of infallibility, you would understand that the words and actions of the Pope is not infallible. Only when he is speaking as Vicar of Christ in the chair of Peter (which is RARELY) done, is it infallible. You, here, are spreading lies.

BABELSixtus V had a version of the Bible prepared which he declared to be authentic. Two years later Clement VIII declared that it was full of errors and ordered another to be made! Pope Gregory I repudiated the title of Universal Bishop as being profane, superstitious haughty and invented by the first apostate Yet through the centuries other popes have claimed the title. Pope Hadrian II declared civil marriage to be valid, but Pope Pius VII condemned them as invalid.
