******* i feel like crap...haha BUM*****Kevin and Monica sat in front of the Jonas house in silence for about 10 minutes. Moni kept looking over at Kevin and he sat looking down at his hand and twirling his ring on his finger. She reached over and tucked a curl behind his hair and lightly brushed her hand across his cheek.MONICA: everything is going to be ok. believe me.KEVIN: i believe you. i hope they wont hate me.MONICA: how could they ever hate you? they love you. now lets go. come on.Kevin got out of the car and walked around to open the door for Monica, he took her by the hand and they walked through the front door of the house. They looked around and saw no one.KEVIN: MOM! DAD! ANYBODY HERE?From the kitchenMRSJ: IN HERE HONEY!they walk hand in hand to the kitchen to see Mrs.Jonas washing dishes and Mr.Jonas sitiing at the counter drinking a cup of coffee.KEVIN: we need to talk to you guys.they both look up and see Monica and smile. Mrs. J walks over and gives her a hug.MRSJ: sweetie how are you? we've missed you so much. dont you ever stay away that long again.MONICA: aww i missed you guys too. you know i love it here.MRJ: so what is it you guys want to talk about?KEVIN: mom come here, sit down.MRSJ: well..ok.once the 2 of them are seated Kevin starts pacing the kitchen in front of them, they look at eachother wonderring whats happening, finally he stops and walks upto his parents at the counter, again he starts to twirl the ring he had worn for almost six years and with much hesitation slips it off his finger and places it on the counter, his parents look from him, to Monica to the ring and immediatly know. His dad looks down at his own hands not knowing what to say while his mother looks up at him while smiling quietly speaks.MRSJ: im glad it was with someone you trust, and love. thats all we ever wanted. we never wanted you boys to mess around and play with girls emotions. you have proven to us your a man, and im proud of you Kevin. it was always your choice to wait, and im glad you waited as long as you did. i think we all agree it was with the right person. right?Monica and Kevin both nod thier heads.KEVIN: mom thank you. that means so much. Dad?MRJ: i completely agree with your mother.MONICA: well we have one more thing we want to talk to you about.....KEVIN: we want to get married. MRSJ jumped up and ran around to hug them both, she already had tears of joy in her eyes and was congradulating them both, MrJ followed and said he wanted to speak to Kevin alone, they walked out of the kitchen to his office, while Mon and MRSJ sat at the counter and talked wedding stuff.Kevin silently followed his father into his office and was unsure if he should have been nervous...MRJ: have you bought her a ring?KEVIN: uh..no not yet....MRSJ: well a while back your grandmother gave me this *places a small box in front of kevin, he opened it and seen a small yet beautiful silver ring with a small pink diamond surrounded by two smaller white ones, it had a lovely antique look to it and kevin knew it was perfect* she tld me that when my first boy met the girl he wanted to spend his life with to give it to him. and we could pass it on, from generation to generation. maybe one day you and monica will have a son to give that ring too.Kevin nodded his head as his eyes filled with tears, he felt honored that he was getting the ring, his dad could have easily given it to Joe or Nick, but it was his, his and mons. and they would cherish it. he hugged his dad and they walked out to the kitchen once more. Kevin grabbed Mon's hand and faced her towards him, right there in the kitchen of the Jonas house Kevin got down on one knee and began speaking.KEVIN: Monica Marie Garcia i love you, i love you so much that when im not near you my heart wants to jump out of my chest to find yours. i know our hearts beat for one another and we belong side by side. and i want to spend the rest of my life loving you, and you loving me. will you marry me?Her eyes began to water and she shook he rhead yes as he slipped the dainty ring on her finger, she looked at it and gasped, its original beauty took her breath away and kevin pulled her into his arms and held her, felling her heartbeats rapid beating, he knew he could stay like that forever, lost in what they were for so long and evenmoe what they managed to become.ok love this chapter.COMMENT/RATE/SUBSBRIBE!
