For the first time, researchers have prevented the typical age-related decline in a whole organ, allowing old mice to have livers that keep working like when they were young. This ScienCentral News video reports on a strategy that researchers think could lead to treatments for age-related decline in other organs, such as the brain. ya think about it even deeper then that though, if there was world peace the world would be overflowing with people. just kinda sad to think if we ever achieve world peace we would be hurting ourselves anyway

true plus that makes global warming go 2 times faster

Yes but there is already tremendous pressure on the worlds economics because of our population growing so fast. That pressure would exponentionally increase by making people live 2x longer. I hate to say it, but sometimes you gotta think that old age isnt in our governements best interests and technologies like this will never come into play because of it.

There are some things that need a faster track to clinical trials. This is one of them. I want everyone I know to live forever(even if they don't want to)
Richardgwm (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
I don't want to live longer. We live too long as it is.
ogami72 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)

The tech singularity? I'm waiting for it too, but it's at least 30 years away...
