not in this univers..a GR-R would never outhandle a porsche GT3. And if the prevoius model lack in power(compared with cars scuch as GT-R, cose 414HP still means smth)...the new one with 450 and the excelent gearbox, who improve regular carreras with 0.2 sec till 100kph, ...would make the porsche a much faster car then already is. the best posche is always the last one(to quote richard hammond :)))

this video is fake......both porsche and GT-R accelerate till 100mph/160kph in pretty much the same time...also they have approx the same time on a quarter mile(400m) race..!!; this video is true if the GT_R only is the modified car here..and the porsche is'nt..!!otherwise...it's a fake video from GT-R's "groopies" or tuning companies in search of new customers !,still..both cars r awesome..i'll personaly still buy the porsche..but not the turbo..instead i'll have the new 2009 450hp PDK 997 GT3

Both cars are about even. I think it might be that the guy in the Porsche didn't do a good job at shifting. Or maybe he was not in the best gear to begin with. Still, with DCT transmission, the GTR has a better or more consistent launch. Both are an engineering marvel.

Which GTR forum have you been visiting? coz Im on all the GTR forums the Norht american GTR forum and the UK forum, have not seen owners mentioning such crap. you are talking shite, the only thing discussed is the gearbox wheather its gonna be under warranty or not using LC, thats all.

I think they made the GTR to where you can't add upgrades but obviously if you go and test drive one and compare these two this GTR is not stock to some extent. Well at least it sounds way stronger the when you first buy it. I know a guy who just bought one and stock or not it's still a beast! |
